This policy explains what information this site and this practice collect about you, why, and what your options are. It covers malanakshalie.com and the booking and session process, not the practices of outside services this site links to.
Information we collect
What you give us directly: your name, email address, and phone number when you book a session, class, or circle, or write in through the contact form. If you pay online, your payment processor handles your card or bank details directly, this site never sees or stores that information.
What you choose to share in a session: anything you tell Malana during a call, whatever you volunteer about your health, your life, or your questions, is treated as confidential. It is not recorded, sold, or used for marketing. See the confidentiality note in the Policies & Disclaimer page.
What the site itself collects automatically: basic, non-identifying visit information (which pages were viewed, roughly how, from what kind of device) may be collected for site upkeep. This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies and doesn't sell visit data to anyone; any cookies you do encounter while booking or paying come from Cal.com or Stripe directly, under their own policies.
How it's used
Your name, email, and phone number are used to schedule and confirm your session or class, reach you if a call needs to be rescheduled, and answer questions you send in. Nothing you provide is used to send marketing you didn't ask for, and none of it is sold or rented to any third party.
Who else sees it
Booking is handled through Cal.com, and payment through Stripe. When you book or pay, the information you enter goes directly to these providers under their own privacy policies, this practice doesn't control how they store or secure it, only that they are established, widely used providers. This practice does not use any other third-party service to collect, store, or process your personal information.
Information is disclosed beyond these providers only if required by law, to protect the safety of Malana, a client, or another person, or to defend a legal right of this practice.
How long it's kept
Booking and payment records are kept as long as reasonably needed for scheduling, bookkeeping, and tax purposes, generally no more than a few years past your last session, then deleted. You can ask for your contact information to be deleted sooner, see "Your rights" below.
Your rights
You can ask, at any time, to see what information is held about you, correct anything that's wrong, or have it deleted. If you're a California resident, this includes the rights the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you over your personal information. To make any of these requests, use the contact page.
Security
Reasonable care is taken to keep your information safe, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children's privacy
This practice is intended for adults 18 and older, as stated in the Policies & Disclaimer page. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Checking back here is the way to see the current version.
